Again, Beto votes with Trump 1/3rd of the time while living in a safe district. He didn't have to vote for bills that facilitate Trump's immigration agenda and prop up the fossil fuel industry when we're a couple of decades from global catastrophe from climate change; he chose to. Even if none of that were true, Bernie outpolls him. You're talking about horserace guesstimates about who would appeal to which demographic as a reason to vote for Beto when 1) Bernie outpolls him, 2) Bernie has consistently been polled as the most popular active politician in the country for the last four years, despite constant Republican attacks and 3) Bernie or Beto would both wipe the floor with Trump. They outpoll Hillary's average polling numbers against Trump by double digits. Policy is what matters now. Your priorities are off.

Policy is literally the most important thing. Bernie crushes Beto on policy. His record is better. His policy proposals are better. The end.

It is almost like people forget that Bernie INSPIRED O'Rourke and Ocassio-Cortez in the first place. I don't get it?  Just because you are "young," you are somehow more credible and appealing? If this doesn't sound like some type of unproductive noneffective "representational" democracy (i.e. social justice), I don't know what the **** it is? It is about character, yes, and one might take age or presumed popularity (though Bernie is the MOST POPULAR politician today) into consideration when considering who to support, but above all else, it is about policy and policy alone. A cheetah can still vote for the party who kills cheetahs - just look at Caitlyn freaking Jenner.

I'm iffy about him running, because he truly lost because he didn't capture the PoC vote throughout his campaign well enough. DNC "rigging" or w.e aside, he wasn't going to win without it. He needs to appeal more to women and people of color and to more aggressively distance himself from his past failings and dedicate himself to be better on those issues for me. But as far as his policies go, we are still *mostly* aligned and I would easily support him if he won the nomination. I'm not concerned with his age, nor the whole "we need brand new fresh faces" argument because its undeniable that Bernie's brand of Democratic Socialism has made some what were at the time radically progressive ideas into things that big name Democrats are supporting - even in lesser forms. So in that sense, idgaf about whether hes "a Democrat or not" ideologically because moderate Democrats and Big Business, Corporate Democrats and their supporters - while a good base to have in your corner - are NOT the people pushing the Democratic party or the country in the right direction, even if they mean well. He's not a crook taking advantage of the Democratic base, he's energizing young and new people and "Independents" to vote because there really is a lot of common ground there and he saw the potential in this untapped base when the DNC and establishment Dems have spectacularly failed in the past. I can't fault that at all. He's also a very respectable person and not too set in his ways - his mind is flexible. 

At the end of the day Warren, Beto, Bernie & Harris are my big names. Biden needs to not run, cause hes going to get destroyed and Dems are stupid to support him tbh  

I could see a Bernie/Harris-Warren or a Harris/Beto ticket winning tbh though the latter is kind of a more moderate settlement.

Bernie/Beto is dangerous to me, with Bernie's at times piss poor report card in the last 2 years with addressing liberals criticism of him. Beto can appeal to conservatives, so the Bernie Bros and Beto supporters would definitely clash as they already are - but it honestly might turn into a lethally effective combination if they could manage to combine their bases. It would take a lot of forgiving of issues, because far left people NEVER want to compromise on their moral positions or thoughts on ethics in politics and Beto's track record + policy is NOT as great as you would think based on his campaign. Similarly, while Kamala Harris seems the most poised to have multifaceted support from many sources of the new faces running, she is not as Liberal as Sanders/Warren, and that leads to people like Bernie Bros being like "dem. socialism or fascism, there's no other option" and ****ing everyone else over.

Idk, I'm just theorizing. At the end of the day, I would probably support Bernie if my other choices don't work out. Definitely over Biden, Booker, Gillibrand, etc.

Meh - all the “woke” people in my area would die for him. And they are the people who will not compromise under any situation.

At this point in politics/culture, we need someone who is willing to compromise and I PERSONALLY don’t believe Bernie is an image of that.

You can all tell me I’m a bad person because of that but it’s just the truth.
