Fresco 1,688
Pop music can be revived. Rapture Ball is so strident I could barely listen to a few seconds of it. Ava Max Salt much better.
That J 12,166
She isnt wrong but anyone can say that. She is in the place where she could help fix it and she ends up sounding as basic as the rest. Either change the game or stop talking about how it needs to change. hELXIG 43,224
Pop music isn't dead because she released Am I A Girl and breathed some life into it! And her red carpet looks are everything. Poppy is the pop icon we need right now. It's a shame the public aren't paying her much attention. I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin. hELXIG 43,224
Guys the tea is the only people who can save pop music is the public. The problem is that people just don't support old school 'pop' type music any more, and so it isn't 'pop music' because it isn't the most popular music (most radio spins, requests, streams). It's like we're stuck in this place where half of us want pop bangers back, but do nothing to actually get it there. And the other half doesn't realise what they're missing, and keeps requesting/streaming dumb ****. Then the cycle continues because record labels are now looking for -insert whatever is popular right now- rather than pop bangers, and so pop music doesn't get signed and made and funded in the first place. I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

It’s obviously over the top to mock the scene right now. Pretty ironic that all of poppy.computer was “bad” pop music while the song titled Pop Music was an acoustic song. an angel held me like a child
