I mean, I'd be surprised if they didn't perform Shallow. I just really want to see them perform together! Its' definitely going to be a highlight of the night!

I was wondering if he was gonna sing or not

It’s gonna be a little weird seeing a clean-cut Bradley singing Shallow.

Also hearing him talking like he doesn’t have a potato in his mouth

I wonder if we'll ever get I'll Never Love Again live :')

Probably never, they didn't properly promote INLA which i guess was the song they wanted and believed it could be a hit and the highlight of the movie, but Shallow became a hit at it's own and surpassed INLA by far so it got nominated for the Oscars. And so we're going to watch Shallow that night being performed. I really want a live performance of INLA but she didn't even include it at the Piano residency, so i think there's no chance she'll sing it live ever.

Yeah - that's what I'm starting to think. It may even make her sad to sing, given her friend's passing that day.

Exactly, like in the JWT where she only performed Grigio Girls for one time because she looked really sad performing that song because of Sonja's passing, it could be the same with INLA,

Honey, if that was true they would have chosen INLA to promote, not Shallow, it doesn’t make sense

Yall need to stop trying to make INLA happen. Or any other song in the soundtrack. It’s not gonna happen.

They do.

Thats why no one really understood why Till it Happens to You lost against Sam Smith, especially after the performance Gaga gave :nails:

It’s obvious that Sam Smith won over TITHY because Writings On the Wall had a way more comercial success.

I’m ready if it’s confirmed, it’s gonna be beautiful and nostalgic seeing them performing the song together

Fans literally thought an indie documentary about rape would have its theme song win over a Bond theme?

Not just fans, literally everyone thought so. I remember Goldderby predicted it to win with 91% chance of winning and so did every single Oscar prediction websites, Gaga campaigned the song like there was no tomorrow like at the PGAs, they also did so many interviews, and Diane even said “this 8th nomination will be my lucky 8”. It was really a messy year :toofunny:

"....One of the highlights of the ceremony will probably be the live performance of Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga’s “Shallow,” nominated for best song...."

Is this really sealed and confirmed? Pard me for the St.Thomas reaction here
