Tell me how else, when Russia, China, Iran, and many terrorist organizations and drug cartels are backing up Maduro, should we be able to get rid of his usurpation of power? Tell me? After 20 years of misery, and famine, and lack of medical resources, of being denied humanitarian aid, after the largest latinamerican migration in DECADES. How then should we get rid of Maduro who is backed by Cuba’s intelligence and a strong army? Huh? Trump is setting an example for other countries to follow, setting a good precedent. The US is effectively deciding to not recognize Maduro’s dictatorship as a legitimate government. The US is supporting the man that will lead thr Venezuelan people into a democracy again. How then should we get rid of Maduro who is backed by Cuba’s intelligence and a strong army? Huh? Trump is setting an example for other countries to follow, setting a good precedent. Cuban army is now the problem? How exactly? One could say US army is a little bit stronger and therefore a bigger threat. Trump's intervention in Latin America would obviously only create more misery. And didn't Trump supporters say that Trump is the peaceful leader who is opposed to war and interventions? What about Haiti, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, and several other Latin American countries destroyed by US imperialist and capitalist policies, and corrupted US backed right-wing tyrants? US government doesn't give a damn about ordinary Americans so it's painfully obvious that US government also couldn't care less about ordinary people from poor developing countries. US only wants to steal Venezuelan oil - that is the main reason why certain American politicians and corporate tyrants are interested in Venezuela. When US controls oil industry it also controls all those countries that are dependent on oil. USA is also the biggest supporter of terrorism in the whole world. Saudi-Arabia and Pakistan are US allies in the Middle East and both of those countries openly fund terrorism. USA have also overthrown countless democratically elected governments in Latin America and all over the world more than any other country. Far-right psychos and frauds like Bolton and most of the other American politicians use words like "democracy" and "freedom" only as propaganda tools. Only moral depravity defines US far-right politices and nothing else. I have always wondered that do Americans realize just how insane American republican politicians look like in other countries? Trump didn’t cherry pick the interim president, he was the president of the national assembly, who may i add, is A LEFTY SOCIALIST, his political party has been known as a socialist party. Maduro is backed up by China and russia, do you think they love our food? They are the ones after our oil industry and love that they have a safe haven country. Did you know Maduro is backed up by drug cartels and terrorist organizations like hezbollah? May I add that I am Venezuelan and that I was there on the protests and that everyone, literally, were so happy about US support. Its been 20 years of misery, this is not an ideological war of left vs right, this is about people dying of hunger, of lack of medical resources, of children dying, of a level of murder rate equal to Syria (and we aren’t in war!). Please, I by no means like Trump, I do not, BUT this is something GOOD that he is doing. I will link you to an article that better explains this. But i can say that nothing is pure. Even the worst of politicians may do some good. And one has to recognize that. If trump does something good (amazing for the reestablishment of democracy in venezuela), lets applaud that, not turn it on its head because of trumps mistakes (i know...huge mismanagement and gross attitudes). Anyways, I invite you to read more on the subject, you are very much misled, I can say it as a Venezuelan who has suffered 20 years of a shitty Chavista regime and many years of dictatorship. I hope that you are open to your own mistakes, I have had to explain this same thing to many American friends who think this US intervention is some evil doing. You all couldn’t be farther from the truth. Rock On and A Last One For the Road 🚬

You can keep your mass produced NPC groupthink to yourself iF don't actually want to engage in a conversation about how the US chooses to engage in IN other countries democratic processes as opposed to worrying about our own. idk, maybe read some political theory or just don't say anything? if you want to approach the discourse from a place of empathy be my guest but that up to you. i have empathy for the people of Venezuela but the U.S. isn't approaching the support from a place of empathy or promoting democracy. its approaching it from a place of economic imperialism, which is a fact. if you think thats ok. then id support your right to stand firmly in it but don't engage unless you actually want to engage and have a discussion about whats actually happening in Venezuela and what it means when America involves itself In other countries democratic processes under the guise of American exceptionalism and "spreading democracy". https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2019/jan/28/venezuela-coup-trump-juan-guaido https://www.aljazeera.com/indepth/features/2017/05/venezuela-support-nicolas-maduro-170528160033611.html https://www.telesurenglish.net/opinion/Donald-Trumps-War-of-Recolonization-Against-Venezuela-20190201-0015.html
