Like for his whole career he's been in the background and supporting roles to the artists he's representing. He doesn't really seem comfortable in the spotlight. I think when we saw him so excited at the Critics Choice that was more indicative of his real feelings when she wins anything, but he probably never wants to draw attention away from Gaga. Or maybe he's just a more reserved person in general. I get it because I'm very much that way.
