Gaga just released pop songs last year and here y’all are jumping to conclusions based off her doing a few jazz shows? There’s a reason Enigma has more dates, there’s a reason she’s working with pop/dance producers, there’s a reason she’s still showing up on stage with blue hair and light up tits. Edonis 28,950 Posted January 22, 2019 Share Posted January 22, 2019 I feel like if she was truly over the pop music scene, completely, to the point that she would never make new pop music ever again, she would never have even been interested in working with the collaborators she was/is working with for the potential new album. I mean, even if she scrapped that album or concept, why would she work with producers mainly involved in a genre she is no longer interested in. I feel like she looked so happy at the jazz show because she was happy performing that music. She loves jazz just as much as she loves pop, and a single show is not going to suddenly change it completely. I feel like you were being a tad over-dramatic @Anisko because of the recent threads certain members made and because she hasn't really given any direct indication of what her new album will sound like. We have absolutely no idea of what really happen behind the curtains.. Maybe interscope is forcing her to make another "pop" album .. I adore gaga and i've been here since the beginning and trust me there's something changed about her .. Exactly, which is why I'd say there's no use in speculating what her personal preferences are until she says something. If she genuinely says she's tired of pop and pop music then I'd understand the sentiment (I would be disheartened as well), but she hasn't. And I doubt she will. I do agree that things have changed, especially in how she conducts herself and music, but her love for the different music genres is not changed. I have yet to see any concrete evidence of this.
