Just goes to show there's worse places out there

My grandparents house that is over 110 years old in Toronto goes for some $1.4 Million

 

This is also in relation to incomes. I'd imagine NYC has above National Average incomes which might help offset high costs

Hong Kong doesn't surprise me. When I went there the lowest Airbnb price I could find was $22 USD for a night, and it was a shared room. In comparison, in most countries you can find many Airbnb rooms under $10 USD for a night, and for that price you can easily have your own room.
