I didn't for a second defend these kids. What they did was horrible. The actions of these kids is indefensible. I can only hope that with age and time these kids regret their actions as much as Hazel Bryan regrets jeering at Elizabeth Eckford.

MJHolland called me into this thread after a different conversation we had on another topic. I didn't even mention these kids, let alone defend them.

I was calling for the end of what these kids are doing, what MJHolland was doing, and what you are now doing - incivility.

If you are going to insert yourself into a conversation at least know what you are talking about.

Edit: I should have followed my own advice and not inserted myself into something I was only partly familiar with. The MANGA kids, in spite of their gross hats, were not entirely in the wrong, and were themselves being harassed. Further reporting has made it clear that the situation was messier than everyone was lead to believe. I regret not setting aside personal biases and preconceived notions and jumping to conclusions.

I encourage everyone in this thread to actually watch footage of the incident that hasn't been edited.

Apparently you are the "brainwahed" one. If you actually watch the raw unedited footage the kids are the ones who are attacked. They are called incest kids, crackers, f*ggots, and told to go back to Europe by the Black Hebrew Israelites and the Native American group. All they did was stand there and wait for their buses. They started saying school chants to drown out all of the racist and derogatory insults that were being hurled at them. The Native American man approached them and started banging his drum in the kids face. He started smiling a little bit because he was in an awkward situation and wasn't sure what to do. This Nathan Phillips guy has made claims like this in the past. He is just some activist crying wolf to get attention.

They aren't incorrect it seems. The situation was messier than originally reported. Here is CNN's update on the story, with footage of the kids being harassed, being called "future school shooters," "dirty animals," "f*ggots," "dirty crackers," etc.

I did make an account, but that is because I do not enjoy people's lives being ruined over nothing. Is it considered offensive to smile now? The kids did nothing wrong. They were chanting before the Native American man walked up to them and many thought that he was playing the drum to go along with their school chants. They were the ones who were approached and made fun of. Just wondering if you have actually watched the 2 hr full encounter before commenting based on the faulty msm reporting in which they did not properly investigate before showcasing what they thought occurred.
