A professor of mine referenced a “BuzzFeed” article about the president today and I cackled. The last thing I want to do is consider BuzzFeed, the same company that makes videos about drinking your own pee and profits almost solely off of identity politics, as a credible source.

Idk how many times this has to be said, but BuzzFeed News is its own entity.

They got a great scoop about the Steele Dossier.

They were the only ones who published the dossier of research on Trump, the same report that said the Kremlin has Trump's pee tape.

Every single piece of public evidence presented in the dossier has been verified.

Just saying.

And what about now? They’ve been accused of telling an inaccurate story. I don’t want to fight about this, I’m allowed to feel how I feel about BuzzFeed as a brand and prefer not getting my news from them because I don’t support them as a whole. Just came here to state that. :heart:

Also 'not accurate' does not necessarily mean 'the whole thing is false'

Yes. If anything this makes me curious about what isn’t false.

"I don't see a denial of the actual meat of the story. They just deny that's how they would characterize it."

Basically, Buzzfeed sensationalized the headline and drew too many conclusions that were probably a bit different than what Mueller would lay it all out as..

The actual statement is ambiguous and not categorical. Buzzfeed News seems to stand by the reporting. Eventually we'll see!
