Oh c'mon :toofunny: . I just found it to be silly and provocative.

I'm vegetarian so I support u and ur vision for life and all, but sis, I gotta disagree with u here... Everything we put in our bodies, plant or animal part, is dead. IMO the only thing you could argue is "living" is seeds and sprouts that would grow, or the bacterial cultures in (gasp) dairy products like yogurt and cheese.

Yet sciences proves otherwise...interesting.

I know. But my point is there's not need to make it sound like for optimal health your supposed to be vegan or imply that if you aren't you won't be in optimal health. That's what I'm saying, I'm not saying u automatically won't be healthy if your a vegan

Yeeeeaaaaah, buuuuuuut... I'm kinda inclined to let that one slide, at least partially, because first of all - for a lot of people especially in the US that statement will ring more or less true, and second of all - that argument is a lot easier to make than trying to, say, explain to people why it's wrong that the meat industry receives huge subsidies in the US, and not, for instance, companies that grow crops that are actually saving the world... You also don't risk alienating people by forcing them to face the fact that a lot of living beings suffer for the meat that they enjoy...

It's a joke! When you give me that look, it's a joke!

U know tbh i don't believe in such thing called masculinity because it's an illusion...  But it'sa nice thing to use it for a good purpose (going vegan) .

BTW im a pescetarian since when i was a child because I loath red meat and poultry. I hope someday to go vegan

Like, plenty of fruits and vegetables increase stamina, animal products in appropriate amounts in themselves don't decrease it and are a part of a balanced nutrition making this misleading to make it sound like that's what u gotta do

Also what kind of an ad :air:

PS: not hating on vegans... It's fine to do it if it's from a moral standpoint.  But from a health standpoint ppl gotta stop telling us that our species (which are omnivores btw) need to be vegan for optimal health as there's no real hard science supporting that

Yep for optimal health the only recommended thing when it comes to meat is to not eat a lot of red meat or to not have too much meat instead of having a more diverse diet with many different source of calories/protein.

The average western person does have too much red meat overall right now even if it's decreased  since decades. When you observe the diet of people who lived longer than most folks they often ate diverse things placing the emphasis on vegetables and fruits with not plenty of meat.

Exactly as you say.. we're omnivores.. not eating both food and veggies is fighting against your own nature..
It's like straight-acting; you're gay, but you don't wanna be :vegas:

This is called the naturalistic fallacy. Just because we do something by nature doesn't mean we ought to do it. Pedosexuality may be natural for some, so what? In the true 'human nature' of 10000 years ago people would only become 30-40 years old on average. Should we also go back to drinking river water, having unsafe sex and using no soap?

Red meat has been shown to cause earlier death, and a varied diet of vegetables, nuts, legumes and fruits has been shown to prolong life duration. Non-animal products don't contain cholesterol. Becoming overweight is also much more difficult with a plant-based diet (there's simply not that much calories in vegetables and fruits).

Wrong.

Go back to wherever you came from.

Also, this is a strawman - men can still be masculine without toxic masculinity. Only a subset of conventionally masculine things is toxic. That's what's bad, not masculinity itself.
