I remember buying one from there back in 2009

That is dramatic  It is just another shops. Disregard all the labels. Or were you nervous cos first time buying stuffs?

I LIVE FOR THE DRAMATICS!

 

But really, i felt out of place walking in there at the time with my colorful hollister and abercrombie clothes on. Being "scene" and emo was a trend so i just felt odd. It was my own insecurity lol. Also, I think as the "scene" and emo trends have gone away, Hot Topic's image has changed.
