Firstly, this is not a hate-topic. I love it when Gaga shines in all her eccentricities - and I think it's been awhile since we've seen this particular side of her. See, below:

Throughout this interview, Gaga is behaving in an undeniably strange way. It's pretty clear to me that she's incredibly overwhelmed - but it's interesting how she deals with that feeling. In my eyes, her way of dealing with the uneasiness is to act her way through it. And I'm not saying that's she's being false... in fact, I think everything she said here comes from a deep place of truth. But her delivery of the truth was very mediated - she certainly was acting the delivery if that makes any sense. 

Watching the interview, I get major throwback vibes from: 

Just an observation. 

I love it when Gaga is a little odd - it's what we all love about her. But, on reflection, I hope she is okay. We now know how unwell she was during the above interview (and the ARTPOP era more generally), and it's a little worrying that she's carrying herself in a similar way again. I'm probably thinking too much into it, though. I understand that last night will have been, naturally, very overwhelming... don't come for me.

There's always something kind of..cringe worthy about her answers. She always tries too hard to always say how it was her greatest dream, everyone said no blah blah, it's the greatest honor. Like @ Enigma, she always has to talk about how no one believed in her, 10 years later she's here tho. I wish she was more "real".

You know, I agree with you actually. 

It's weird because throughout this era (and Joanne, too), she's being very adamant about 'self-discovery', 'finding herself' and 'delving deep' into her own truth... but you're right, I think she will look back and realise that she's becoming part of a system - which is what she so famously rebelled against. 

She's totally lost herself in the land of Hollywood and awards. 

A part of me think it's a great shame, but another part of me believes that she knows exactly what she is doing, and there's a calculativeness behind it all - which I hope is true.

Yeah I felt like she was being over dramatic and it seemed phony .  Made her look a little pretentious imo .  Please no warning points- not saying this as a negative criticism, just an honest observation  we all love her tho and that’s never gonna change

Ugh, I equally love and hate her Judy Garland/Old Hollywood-persona. The gasping, the almost crying with every word, the being overwhelmed. I want her to stop it and at the same time I live for it. She's been doing it for some years now, she also did it in the C2C-era.

If she is pretending as if she won an Oscar with every award she gets, I wonder how she's gonna be if she actually wins an Oscar.

I disagree. I think she's just riding a rollercoaster of emotions at the moment. We can't be perfect all the time. I think her home is on the stage rather in interviews and being asked repetitive questions which will obviously lead to repetitive answers.

Also, this is no comparison to that British interview. She was OUT OF IT in that interview, whereas here she is clearly just a little overwhelmed by the moment.
