Would Boys Boys Boys be a hit if it was released as a single as intended?

As we all know (or not know) Boys Boys Boys was gonna be the single after Paparazzi (Before they canceled it and released Bad Romance instead)

I think it could have been, but the timing to end The Fame and introduce Bad Romance was perfect imo. If there was no Fame Monster then perhaps it could have been a hit

No, it would've been a minor hit and kinda would've ruined the momentum of the album and her era. Paparazzi was the perfect last single with its dark performances and perfectly set the stage for world domination with Bad Romance.

Yeah I mean a my straight friends even know the song. It's one of her most popular non-single. Paparazzi though was the best ending.

Paparazzi was the perfect final single. In my opinion BBB would have got the MTN treatment.

I think it would have been good any time before Paparazzi, because that song and video was a perfect transition for what The Fame Monster had in store for the world.

Still, I don't think it would have been a smash hit, modderate maybe.
