I was thinking about this last night. I watched a Woody Allen film and then it got me thinking about the accusations he's had against him and it made me wonder where do you draw the line when it comes to entertainment because so many people have got skeletons in the closet.

By listening to R Kelly (for instance), you're giving money to someone who did a multitude of disgusting and illegal things. You may like his music, but by listening to it, you're basically letting him have a proseperous and sucessful life. You're supporting him, but because you're having a good tine doing it, you think it's fine. Also consider the fact that his money and power are the reason why he can do what he does. He's a rich, famous man with a huge ego, and that's why he hasn't gone to jail. That's why he does what he does. Partly, of course.
And if you think that you're just one person or that your stream doesn't matter, think about the fact that you aren't the only one with that mentality. The majority of people who listen to him, at this point, probably think their engagement in his music isn't significant.

Trust me now after the docu, R Kelly's career is more dead than death itself

R Kelly is over, he won't be able to work with anyone in the music industry, and he will definitely go to jail this year. It's game over, and if some people wanna keep listening to him, they can. Some people can make the distinction between art and the person, and some can't

Well just as I said: “Any way she has a lot of fans, many younger female fans, so this can come off really ignorant. Like she doesn’t support the victims.” 

Sure it’s ‘just’ a song but his trademark is on it. She even said his name as if she wanted everyone to know that she was singing along with HIS song. Maybe she didn’t mean it that way but it is undeniably a stupid move to make.

The whole thing just smells like a publicity stunt. I mean she even said his name. What I got from the video was basically "Ooh I'm listening to R. Kelly.. l love this R.Kelly song.. I'm feeling myself.. while jamming to R.Kelly". She knew what she was doing and she made it far too obvious 

I won't judge her for actually listening. It would be hypocritical cause I'm still playing Dr. Luke's songs all the time. But doing it publically and basically promoting him is horrible.
