Why have unreleased tracks from BTW never leaked?

We have so many unreleased tracks from pre-Fame and The Fame and even demos and stuff from ARTPOP. But Born This Way and The Fame Monster unreleased material are kind of still hidden in the shadows. Why? Are there any out there circulating in those unreleased hoarder circles?

I heard somewhere that there aren't really any, she put out everything she wrote for the album... but who knows.

i always wondered that too. I'm pretty sure its because just about everything she wrote and recorded ended up on the album. But still it is kinda weird though that there's like not even ONE that's out there. Also btw there are a couple TFM unreleased trakcs, circulating. Look up Reloaded, No Way, Animal and Nothing On But The Radio (?). I think those were all supposed to be on TFM

The real answer is someone illegally obtained pre TF demos and BTW material was unreachable. There's a few songs that she recorded that leaked, Changing Skies was from 2010, written in one of the first BTW sessions. Nothin On was written in 2010 as well. LOTR was written but never recorded so thats why it didnt leak. Of course there is a lot of songs no one knows about and itll probably stay that way since literally only record labels and gaga have them. No hacks their way they got that good firewall

From my understanding, there's only been 2 major incidents/hacks that eventually lead to the years and years of leaks that we've received:

All the leaks from TF/TFM came from late 2009 (around the time we got the Bad Romance & Alejandro demos), and everything else has just sporadically been making their way out to the public over the years through the grapevine.

All the leaks from ARTPOP stemmed from one person as well, sometime in 2014, also making their way out through the grapevine.

Hence why there's been no unreleased songs or demos from BTW or Joanne, unless released/played by Gaga herself (Stuck on ****in' You, the demos from her phone on Howard Stern; the Work Tapes at the end of Joanne, etc.)

Because they wrote around 100 songs for the album but only finished the ones we got, they also increased security on her music so they worked really hard to not let anything leak because it could make them lose millions I think. Gaga said that they worked without internet connection because they didn't want to get hacked.

ARTPOP was different, they also had a lot of material but not everything was recorded/mastered/postponed for Act II. Brooklyn Nights was removed at the last minute and we got an unfinished demo that she leaked it herself along with Aura. We know a lot about these unreleased songs because they were supposed to come out at that point.

They took security extremely seriously with Born This Way.  They were making an album during her world domination and peak, they couldn't afford to have material leak.

There are demos though.

 

Brooklyn Nights was originally wrote for Born This Way, so we can at least say we got that

I had no idea Changing Skies was 2010, it sounds so bad and dated I thought it was made before TF.

True we never did get very many unreleased BTW tracks except for Stuck On F*ckin You, Changing Skies & Earthquake which turned into FOHL.

She confirmed the existence of unreleased songs when she said she burned them because didn't want anyone to hear them. also that interview when she played vocals recorded from her phone.

The closest things to an unreleased from that era are Acid Wash Girls, Love U Sum and Stuck on ****ing you.
