Smother Em Eh 7,129 Posted January 13, 2019 Share Posted January 13, 2019 The pop Artists from the 60’s/ 70’s (Cher), 80’s (Madonna, Whitney, Celine), 90’s (Mariah, Britney, Christina, Shakira, Gwen) early 00’s (P!nk, Rihanna), mid 00’s (Gaga, Katy, Ke$ha, Miley) and so on (Lana Del Rey) all have such distinctive, recognizable and unique voices but I feel like today’s Artists lack that a little bit. You can always tell a Britney song from a Rihanna song or a Gaga song from a Katy song and so on... but now not so much. I feel like today’s new pop girls (Halsey, Bebe, Dua, Ava) don’t have the uniqueness of the other regular main pop girls. So out of all of the new pop girls who has the most unique voice? A voice that sounds out from a crowd the most and is instantly recognizable when you hear it, you instantly know who it is. Get Applause & G.U.Y to 1B views! Not that I mean that as a dig, I don't really know any of their material enough to feel one way or the other.
