I think he had his time and what he accomplished was historic because he forever change the Democratic party. Most of his platforms have been adotped by the Democratic party. I also believe the buck stops with him and with what his campaign staffers did. If Bernie and his backers were quick to place the blame on Hilary with what happened in 2016 with her staff and the Democratic party it's only fair that Bernie also responsibility for what happened in his campaign or was all of that just self righteousness. It also makes me feel as though the people behind the scenes and leading Bernie's campaign just didn't get even understand Bernie's message. How did he expect the nation to understand and vote for him to become president? At this point I feel that nobody could've beat Trump in 2016 and we need to look each other and join together to beat Trump in 2020. Bernie just causes divisiveness IMO. I think the the establishment needs to lend a bigger ear to our freshmen elected represtatives and adopt newer ideas and I think the freshmen learn to develope their ideas and voice without turning off a left middle voter. We need someone for 2020 who is both establishment and open to new ideas. I do believe this person should not be older, and honestly IMO, if he is white he better understand what the black, brown and LGBTQ community face. There is one person who was a Bernie backer that I abosultly loved her name is Nina Turner. Why isn't anyone looking at her for a possible presidential run. There is could people I like for candidates and I 'm excited for 2020, but I know that no matter who wins the primary I will be voting Democrat in 2020. I used to love just looking up her speech's to listen to them. Here is a 2016 where she is backing Bernie. He doesn’t have the luxury of a Hillary Clinton shield this time around so if y’all thought he was getting dragged by the media before, well get ready. On the other hand he may have gained enough brownie points during 2016 for literally not being Hillary or Trump that it could just carry him all the way. It’ll definitely be interesting. As for the clip, I don’t doubt that woman is intelligent but this sounds more like a rant than anything. It does make me wonder if it’s a sentiment that’s felt by a larger, quieter group of people or if it’s just a one time thing that we happened to catch on tape.
