In some alternate universe, Gaga released Venus as the second single. We got a bangin a$# video that was full of the true visual aesthetic of what ARTPOP was all about. And Gaga fed the children for a generation. I wanna live in that universe. :(

I've had this account since "June 22, 2012"...  you want to ban me for having a polite, unbiased conversation... that says more about you than me.

You are pathetic trying to steer this conversation into a hate thread :fthis:

Gaga makes a heartfelt apology and redirects the issue to make it about supporting survivors of sexual abuse, and all you can do is make it all about Gaga and your own twisted vendetta against her :fthis:

I read on Pop Justice that R. Kelly has writing credits on all versions so odds are they are all disappearing from iTunes and streaming platforms.

The R Kelly collab is the only unfortunate part of it, I mean the song is amazing and catchy and it was going to become a huge hit. If it was solo, she would have released the video and promoted it properly and today DWUW would be remembered as one of her greatest hits ever

However it's interesting to see how people are so demanding and overcritical with her. Like she's the only one who collaborated with him and needs to explain herself. People are so demanding with women, it's never enough!

Just wow...honestly.........

if kelly even has the video...

I don’t think he does. It’s not as if he directed it or anything, he only appeared in the video. I think if it was gonna leak it would have by now and that Gaga’s team have it locked down.

Talking about that, u guys know where can I find the cd+dvd (swine fest) available to purchase?

Use the search terms "ARTPOP deluxe cd dvd" on Ebay and you'll be able to find UK, Australian and Japanese editions.

A perfect response, not too PR-ed. It has a sincere Gaga vibe to it.

I don't see a problem with removing the song altogether. It'll still appear in some shady websites but at least it won't give R Kelly any money from now on

Too bad it's only Gaga who will ever acknowledge this. I mean Kendrick Lamar threatened to remove his music from Spotify just so he could defend Kelly and Gaga will delete her art voluntarily. And yet she gets all the backlash. Society won't change anytime soon.

Am I the only one shook that we won't have the official copy of the original song available to us soon?! I admire her and all that but THE R KELLY VERSION WILL DISAPPEAR FROM THE FACE OF THE EARTH.

It's my favorite version of the song I am freaking out. It's such a masterpiece. The commentary of three artists working on a project (Terry included) who are publicly crucified for their controversies. It's the ultimate FU. Now it's gone.

Again, I'm glad with her statement. It's the removal of her art that I'm freaking out about.

If you have ARTPOP on Vinyl or CD then you still have the song! And if you purchased it on iTunes then it should stay with you forever as well.

She is such an incredible person.

And then there’s the double standards. R Kelly has all his music everywhere and she has to delete one song. Anyway, glad she is doing it. Hope she replaces it with the solo version.

So tired of the fake outrage. People need to be holding all the men that worked with R Kelly up to these standards and demanding comments & apologies from them. And nobody seems to be wanting to tar and feather Beyonce for working with R Kelly. Jay Z made a whole album with the creep. The hypocrisy is disgusting.

So she defended a paedo because she was angry and twisted... I'll leave that with you.

And by the way... I am not trying to change anyone opinions, everyone is entitled to think what they want, just adding some balance.

The Faux News kind of balance, yes.
