Shes not the one who raped people. The ones that drag them don't matter tbh, the normal ones are willing to listen and forgive. Meredith Grey 3,157
This is a horrible situation for her to be in. No matter what she says it will not be enough. If she stays silent and this gets bigger the media will trash her and her apology from that point would only make it worse. If she doesn’t say the absolute perfect thing she will be dragged across twitter. If she does say the perfect thing she could still be dragged too. And much worse than any of the men (John, Chance and Jay if he does get pulled in). Especially with the attention on her already from award show season, enigma and ASIB, Y’all realize this could literally RUIN her career. This isn’t just doing the right thing, this is a potential publicity nightmare for her. Too many of people are on such a high horse about topics like this that you can’t just apologize and move on. edit: before anyone comes for me I’d like to clarify that by high horse I mean that they can’t forgive people who make mistakes I agree R. Kelly is an evil man who should definitely not be given any platform and should go to jail.
Kattys 4,319
Quit argument that „omg they only mention Gaga, what about other celebrities”. I don’t remember other celebrities being outspoken about their trauma, abuse and rape or being a survivor. That is why this attention is brought to her because she was talking a lot during her career about men power, abuse, etc.
River 117,059
The ONLY ones who needs to be pointed at are the judges and the jury who set him free and decided that he is innocent!!!! not Gaga or any celebrity! So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy

Mr S 8,672
What exactly should she say? I'd like to think her team will think of something nice, but what do you guys think would be a good answer?

I realize it was inappropriate of me and I apologize to the people who were offended." would be more than enough tbh That makes it so sad. That's literally all she has to say. Kattys 4,319
I just have to say that I already saw one article about it on facebook feminist group, questioning Gaga as activist. This can go very wrong very soon so I hope she reacts.

I personally believe she regrets it and I don’t need her to release a statement to believe that.

Serial Chiller 8,044
Text insinuating she doesn’t like Katy Perry Gaga 3s later: OMG guys that was old we grew up we love each other now. Esteban 2,300
The thing I'll never understand is why R.Kelly have accepted to sing that song? His ego seems limitless if he wasn't even able to connect the meaning of the lyrics with his own behaviour

See. I am bugged by this “What about ...” argument. I only care about Gaga and if she made a mistake, she’d better own up to it. Besides, no one has had that kind of connection/involvement with him. You are delusional if you think otherwise. Especially her and what she has stood for throughout her career.
jojostanforlife 94
She should definitely come forward about this. I doubt she had a bad experience with him, but she should at least say something like "I stand with the victims in this situation". That being said there are countless other artists who are also accountable, so this article definitely seems like a mini smear. 1 hour ago, Matangi said: She should be responsible to address their professional relationship. People like Kevin Hart should be held accountable for their actions just as Gaga should, and the truth is that she collaborated on a pretty directly sexual wong with a predatory sex offender. Regardless of how much celebrity he has, and who else has worked with him, that is the tea. That is the tea, but Kevin Heart said homophobic himself and refused to apologise for them. Gaga is not a sexual predator herself, she worked with one. Plus, she never refused to comment. She refused to take part in the docuseries.
