Like American Girl dolls, but without the unintentional racism of making their only available black doll a slave. Imagine being a kid and the only doll who looked like you was a slave! That would make you feel weird, huh? Also, even if kids realistically don't care who their Barbie doll is modeled after (I renamed all of mine) I am sure that collectors will really desire this item.
