If they release it they'll then have to pay out for everyone who worked on it. It's probably not cost effective. If they scrap it they can at least sell the songs/beats on and gain some money back. You shouldn't be so happy when someone's career hits the skids. That's extremely negative and we all know it had a detrimental effect on Gaga during the ARTPOP era.
