That's so sad... I was really feeling the music, and I really loved the aesthetic :(

Anyway I think it's pretty clear her label is about to drop her. They wouldn't need to take it down unless it's either not coming anymore or they don't wanna be associated with it anymore.

Either ways, she's gonna be dropped for sure and that's so sad I really love her

Expecially considering she was trying so hard to make it happen, like, she performed wherever and whenever she had the chance.

Her songs always sound like a target ad campaign

This is literally the BEST description of her music!

Obviously she has her fans and I mean no disrespect, but to ME...I havent seen a celebrity as basic with literal ZERO star quality in my life. With that said, she seems like a sweet girl. Maybe she should just go back to writing for others.

Exactly. I'm surprised she has this many hits tho.

She only has 4 Top 10 hits, which really isn't much for someone who had instant huge success.

She was a flash in a pan

Thinking of someone like that who had extreme popularity for a short period of time, there's Kesha and she was able to snatch 9 Top 10 hits in 2 years, then had Timber a year later for a total of 10 (some count "Right Round" as hers, some don't *i did*)

Right. I havent really followed her. Ya know this sounds rude but I'm still surprised she had that many hits. Lmao

Edit: I'm usually ALWAYS right about who will hit and who wont but one time I was MASSIVELY wrong.

First time I heard the song Baby One More Time by this new girl named Britney Spears, I said "she will be a one hit wonder"....

Whoops!  Man, was I off that day!

why don't they just release it and that's it. like, it's pretty clear they will not gain any huge success with this album, so just put it out as a body of work and then drop her if that's what they really want, end of story.

If they release it they'll then have to pay out for everyone who worked on it. It's probably not cost effective. If they scrap it they can at least sell the songs/beats on and gain some money back.

You shouldn't be so happy when someone's career hits the skids. That's extremely negative and we all know it had a detrimental effect on Gaga during the ARTPOP era. I just think it's cruel to want people to fail and then gloat about it.

I'm not even a fan of Meghan Trainor but I feel bad for her.

I'm not happy for her career situation, I never liked to see someone failing, no one deserves that (except for bad people)

I'm just happy to be right by my predictions :laughga: her material just didn't give me a long successful career, her music is pretty much the same and not innovative.

LordEnigma

I’m glad she’s not a “main pop girl” - her music is more basic than basic herself.

Hopefully she can find her niche though and make money that way.
