Wouldn't he have not burned? He's Targaryen. I'm all for Naked Snow tho. :vegas:

Jon burned his hand in Season 1 with a lantern.

Bellatrix

I cried when Drogon poked Daenerys and realised she was dread. It was a Simba and Mofasa moment :ohno:

I'm disappointed at the ending like almost everyone else. I never liked Sansa and she didn't deserve to be Queen of the North.

Tyrion and Jon got away too easy. Drogon should've burned them both.
If Daenerys became the Mad Queen Jon is the Queen slayer.

Lose control. Let go and fall. Do you get the satisfaction?

I had to laugh when Jon asked Tyrion if they did the right thing in killing Dany.

Lol like **** you, you should have thought about it before running her through with a knife. And Tyrion had the gall to say ask me in 10 years. So he doesn't even know if they did the right thing. He just manipulated Jon to be set free. I mean despite his scaremongering it was clear from the Jon/Dany scene that she wouldn't even think of killing him or his family. Tyrion was bluffing.

Also, Bran implying that he knew he would end up king. Gurl.

Pathetic ending to a pathetic season of a wonderful show.

Can we just acknowledge the fact that Sansa pretty much won the game of thrones? Best character arc.

There was literally no-one left in Kings Landing to oppose her/kill her. :toofunny:  She given her mental state would never thought of Jon as capable of killing her.

Sure let’s put 100 guardsmen for one dwarf and not a single soul to protect the queen of the seven kingdoms from a surprise attack. I’m sure a dragon will be as swift as a human guard to protect her from a quick attack as well, Drogon did a very good job. Fantastic twist. The “I DUH WANN ET YOU MA QUEEN” boy rises up to the task, after a shitty talk with Tyrion, so satisfying, such a subversion of expectations

Yep. If Dany was really the mad queen obsessed with power, she would have arrested Jon, Arya, Sansa, Tyrion, and everyone that knew and executed them on the spot.

She even felt sad about the fact that Tyrion had betrayed her again, and she essentially said that it would break her heart to have to punish Tyrion, but she was right that sometimes the path to a merciful world has unmerciful ends. Tyrion did deserve to die and or be punished for many counts of treason at this point. It was unbelievable that Grey Worm would have simply arrested Jon, even though Dany believed in the law and justice above herself. And Tyrion wasn't executed timely, he had time to talk with Jon :rip: (Yes I know Jon visited him but how was this even allowed lol)

Well, I thought it was solid. Not perfect but solid and ended on a sober note. I loved that my Sansa became Queen in the North. In general I liked that they put at least 3 Stark kids where they belong. Still not sure how I feel about Bran being king and Bronn in the council. Also still not satisfied with Jamie's and Cersei's end... But yeah.

While not everything had been perfect, especially this season, I did some rethinking about past episodes, read discussions, watched video essays and listened to podcasts to view this ending from the most neutral position that I could. There definitely should have been a bunch of more episodes to explain quite some things because I totally can get behind a lot of ideas they have shown us.

Kinda curious now which road the books will take.
