Really shitty they made Emilia feel this way.

I feel like GoT fans always have a problem separating fiction from reality.

I could personally have a lot of respect for the actors who portrayed Joffrey, Cersei and now Daenerys, simply because these are actors trying to serve the story and serve their characters.

I understand that as the story grows, we get attached to certain characters, and it's perfectly normal, it's human nature, and if I were in Emilia's position, I would probably feel the same way too.

But I think ultimately, if I were an actor, I would be immensely proud of what I do because I did all my best to advance the story and serve a universe and character, regardless of what the public might think of it.

It's a big deal to these actors, they've been in this for nearly 10 years now. Emilia has said that this show is what made her grow into a woman. It's very upsetting to hear her being shocked at the dramatic character turn. She walked for hours after reading the script until there were blisters on her feet.

Although I absolutely despise this final season, I appreciate the actors dealing with what they had and delivering amazing performances.

In my mind it's still registering it actually happened.. Bran, who did nothing all season but influence Dany's madness and warg into a crow, is the king. "Why do you think I came here?" umm they should've asked "so you knew this would happen? You knew they'd die?" because like... literally... what the heck. If they made Bran seem more evil or ulterior motivations I'd gag, because then it's like three-eyed raven sits on the throne instead of BRAN

Yes, ultimately an actor's job and responsibility is to serve the character and the story. Like I said, I understand the sentiments of the actors and the fans, but I just hoped they, especially the fans, could understand that, sometimes a story needs fallen heroes and villains to be great.

Not everything is a bed of roses, and it's actually great that fiction reflects that.

I don't think Bran's assumption of the throne was supposed to be a big deal. Quite the contrary, they only named Bran the king because he was the most suitable candidate, not because he was perfect. In fact, Tyrion said 'no one is happy' about the current situation, because frankly, Game of Thrones is about tragedy, pain and loss. They never promised a happy ending.

I have to admit that I didn't understand why Bran said 'Why do you think I came here?' like, you knew you would be King? That part was confusing to me.

I agree with you on everything except for one thing

Jamie’s main reason for killing the mad king was because he asked him for Tywin’s head.

That's true, my error.

I mean do we seriously believe there were hundreds of soldiers guarding Tyrion, BUT NOT ONE GODDAMNED SOLDIER WITH THE QUEEN? You know, the one person who has a red target on her back?

There was literally no-one left in Kings Landing to oppose her/kill her. :toofunny:  She given her mental state would never thought of Jon as capable of killing her.

Season 6 deserves the tail. That is the best season and idc what anyone else says. Season 8 looks too pretty in that pic though.

I’m a simple guy to please, if you like Melodrama, we chill.

Lion Heart

Again, there's literally no reason for Jon not to come back from the Wall now that Greyworm, Dothraki, and Unsullied have left, and the Prince of Dorne and Yara Greyjoy apparently don't care anymore. Jon could literally go back to Winterfell where his sister is the Queen of the North.

Apparently the guy next to Sam was Howland Reed. The only living man who can confirm Jon's parentage since he was physically there didn't get to say anything, wow.

I couldn't even enjoy the scene where Dany addresses the crowd because there was TOO many Unsullied + Dothraki it just didn't seem possible. Where did they even come from?

I am so dissapointed. I did read the spoilers and on screens they are even worse. Half of the Dany killing scene you dont see what John did. She dies so quickly.

Still GOT is the greatest show of the past decades no doubt. But yeah... only until season 6, maybe 7 which was still good imo.

So sad this is how it ended....
