We can rightfully blame Dumb and Dumber for ruining GOTs legacy. They are both dumb sexists and rather see a group of straight white males ruling the kingdoms than a woman. Burn the soldiers, sure. I don't care if they surrendered or not. But saving the innocents from tyrants has always been Daenerys' "thing" Exactly! Her entire life's purpose has been a lie. She is not even the rightful heir to the throne. That and all the things she's been through is just.... rough. I do agree it should have been spread out. She stayed until there was no single chance of winning. Daenarys knew this, she knew Cersei didnt order the surrender bells, thats why dany keeps burning.
