It's always been there thou. People have chosen to ignore the signs. It didn't just come out of nowhere which is the narrative people seem to be pushing because somehow it tarnished their favourite character. We knew a lot would go down in six episodes deal with it! Dany is my favourite but I'm embracing her dark nature.

Seriously now? Now we can’t criticize the show for ruining almost every character arc? No one is ****ing mad that Daenerys got mad but it was rushed, yes the signs were there. (But honestly every character had shown signs of madness e.g Arya killing the whole house of Frey)

HBO has given the writers the chance to make a longer season but they refused. We can rightfully blame Dumb and Dumber for ruining GOTs legacy.

They are both dumb sexists and rather see a group of straight white males ruling the kingdoms than a woman. After all they killed the only open gay character during pride. They are idiots.

That's what I'm complaining about though. It's all crammed in this season. The point of character development is that it's spread out over a long period of time. I still don't see how any of those things for just this season warrant her killing children and innocents. Her issue has always been with Cersei. She should have flown straight for the Red Keep. The people of the city pose no threat to someone with a giant ass dragon, nor have they wronged her in any way. Burn the soldiers, sure. I don't care if they surrendered or not. But saving the innocents from tyrants has always been Daenerys' "thing"

Exactly! She even locked up her dragons after they killed a child. And now she is burning innocents?

Because psychologically she isn't well. Her entire life's purpose has been a lie. She is not even the rightful heir to the throne. That and all the things she's been through is just.... rough.

I do agree it should have been spread out. It's too quick. The last 2 seasons should've had 10 episode like the ones before.

From what I saw she did the exact opposite. She stayed until there was no single chance of winning. Daenarys knew this, she knew Cersei didnt order the surrender bells, thats why dany keeps burning. To eliminate every single chance of traps, treachery, or retaliation that giving into Peace bells would have given the opportunity  for.

Yes she did

But there was no one left to fight for her

The useless golden comany gone

Her Iron Fleet gone

Her balistas gone

Her Lannister Army Slaughterd

And she almost stayed till the end in the red keep untill it was too dangerous

She could have used Wildfire and would go out with a bang

Modern Ecstacy

Am I the only one convinced that Cersei and/or Jamie didn't die yet?

Why is everyone accepting the fact that they're dead?

I have a strong feeling they are still alive and will escape king's landing from the rubble and probably live on...and she will give birth
