I wouldn’t say robbed. But I have to admit it’s surprising. Especially because of the „Experts“ on Gold Derby wich predicted that ASIB will win, BY FAR the three big categories. And I think that‘s why we feel that way.  It because the other font deserve it, but much more because of the hype around it

I’m excited Gaga won best original song. Not upset because Glen deserved best actress just as much as Gaga. But best picture ASIB SHOULD HAVE HAD THAT!

It's a damn joke that it didn't get anything for the movie itself, just Shallow

I’m most shocked it got snubbed for best director. Bradley absolutely deserved that for his directorial debut.

Not trying to be rude but Glenn Close is a superior actress in The Wife than Gaga in A Star Is Born. Gaga wasn't robbed.calm down, it's her first movie.

And ASIB might deserve Best Picture but I haven't seen BR so I can't judge.

Gaga is now a two-time Globe winner. One for acting and one for singing.

So does that mean we don’t stand a chance at the oscars?

Unfortunately, I think this drastically lowers her chances at winning. Olivia Colman and Glenn Close won their respective categories, and both of them are—according to the experts—"locks" when it comes to nominees (including Gaga). Honestly, I would expect either one of them to win at the Oscars.

I absolutely loved ASIB, saw it 4 times. BUT there was really strong competition this year. I will say that Bohemian Rhapsody felt more cohesive than ASIB and I think that's a sign of Bradley's newcomer shoes as director, and that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Also it's Gaga's first rodeo as actress and I'm confident she will have other opportunities. She was up against women who have been in the industry a long time.

At very least, ASIB won for the music which I'm 100% ok with.

I'm interested to see how their predictions change. It's interesting because they're supposed to be the "experts" and I betcha that tomorrow we will see that all of their predictions have now changed to either Close or Colman winning Best Actress. I mean, I could tell you that...
