Colorism and the privilege of lighter folk is definitely a hot and important discussion, and I remember Halsey being very open and cognizant of her own privilege when discussing this, which I highly commend. It's interesting to hear her perspective regarding it (being mixed myself, but not showing it, nor identifying as it).
