Imo the MR video just needed to be super simple yet stylish. Just a complete video of these shots would've worked brilliantly imo and would've made a striking visual impact: All of those shots were epically glorious. I'm still baffled she decided to mix them with those horrendously directed à nd acted "love you sis" (I mean, I basically broke all of my toes cringing at that the first time) story scenes Unforgivably, quintessentially awful. It fit the song perfectly. The only thing that bothers me is the whole storyline to connect it to the video of PI, only bc this fandom desperately wanted to have a complete trilogy  . Ew, David! I guess the video felt just odd because it was the continuation of the Perfect Illusion video and this connection felt kinda forced or random. Luke78619 23,409 Posted January 5, 2019 Share Posted January 5, 2019 I always imagined MR vid being set at a pond surrounded by trees, with Gaga in the centre of the pond sitting down with a piano (imagine the piano and seat have very long legs ), with the vid starting off in Autumn with the leaves falling off, then winter where the lake freezes and it’s snowy, then spring when the ice goes and flowers start to bloom (lots of CGI lol) and her hair grows into the pond with plants sprouting from it too, then summer at the final chorus where the colour is at its most saturated. Also scenes of Gaga on a swing under a tree playing the guitar would be cool this is literally what I thought we’d get for some reason so imagine my surprise by the actual video insta: good_lukeing | I have nothing else to promote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Look at BR or Born this way, Judas. These are masterpieces, even TEOG, that MV is simple too, but not cheap. MR is my fav Gaga song,and the audio version is way better.
