First of all if you live in Europe, Alejandro was the most overplayed song you’ve ever heard. It was such a big hit.

Born This Way had a message and it was meant to be heard, so she did it right at her peak after the Meat Dress. Otherwise it wouldn’t have reached #1. 

G.U.Y. is catchy but its lyrics make it so that most people would be afraid to recommend it to others. It’s a woman being strong and it’s about sex, how much less GP friendly could it have been? The society is right-wing minded, that goes for Angel Down too.
