Sorry but I agree with everyone here saying this is due to poor sales. 

And yeah, everyone came after Gaga when she had to cancel two tours saying that it was because she was flopping, when in FACT those tours were being sold out (or almost sold out) every ****ing where. 

So, when it is actually a FACT that this residency was bound to flop (because it was, and it's not her fault), her dad got in hospital and whatever... you really think one of the richest persons here can´t find a better solution without stopping working like 2 shows a week? My grandparents have been sick and my parents never stopped working because of that. My dad was hospitalized and my mum never stopped working (except for the surgery day and maybe two days later). 

Nah, they had to cancel and that's it. 

And don't get me started with what I think about her using her fathers health (with something that happened MONTHS ago) to excuse this.

you do realise tho that maybe her dads condition is worsening? If it was due to low ticket sales, why would she be taking a career break?

Why would i assume how her dad's condition is? I formed my opinion based off the information provided. As a Gaga fan I'm the last person to discard something like this as "poor ticket sales" but... something feels unauthentic

Maybe he is gravely ill and she wants to spend time with him. We never know. Y’all saying mean stuff in here is just making me so furious. Don’t y’all have anyone you care about? You asked yourself the real question tho. What you are doing here is assuming that he is healthy and thst she is doing this only because of poor ticket sales. It is extremely sad that there is people in here saying stuff like this. Britney never cancelled concerts because of poor salles. Never. She performed in Zagreb for literally 1000 people.. I know because I was there. Arena was empty. But she still did it and was extremely happy that night.

I didn’t expect to see such hateful comments in this thread. We don’t even know what’s going on behind the scenes. It’s not like Britney shares her life day to day. This must be very important. 

Another thing, has anyone ever paid attention to Britney? Why would she cancel a Vegas residency even if it’s ‘flopping’? It’s literally a good, steady gig for her. She’s getting her coins and it’s good so her kids don’t have to travel and can go to school, etc. 

 

and  ANOTHER thing, the venue said it was postponed not cancelled. I feel it could go two ways. 1) he’s terminally sick and she’s waiting for him to pass 2) he’s getting better and she is helping him recouperate and wants to help until she KNOWS hes ready.
