My heart is with Britney, her dad and the whole family. She's just been super brave to take this difficult choice and i hope she'll be super brave as well while supporting and taking care of her dad during his recovery. 

To all of you who are implying another reason for the cancellation: is it necessary? All of this bitterness like it was you who's losing money or something. Were you pleased when they said the same about Gaga?

I haven’t read all the comments, but I hope no one gets mad at her for this (not to make assumptions, but I always see these types of comments when shows are canceled). I know what it’s like to lose a loved one, and can sympathize with her fears and wanting to stay with family. Good for her canceling her show, anyone in her position would do the same. Wishing her family lots of love and blessings

Thank you for saying this. If someone is ill it doesn’t always just go away. When someone has a serious disease, they don’t just get better in a week and then it’s all better. I don’t know Britney’s father’s situation, but when there is a health crisis, it can last a week, two weeks, 5 months, a year, two years. I hope anyone reading this understands where i’m coming from. I’m not saying this to argue, just to make people aware that some situations are more serious than they may seem.

Tbh I am kinda jealous that she has a job where she can take a break whenever she wants... If my mom was sick I would maybe get 1 day off if I am lucky... Even if someone day we get minimal days off

Id just like to say we don't know what happened so some of the comments are insensitive. What if he was in a coma and survived but actually has long term functional damage? What if he had a stoke and survive but half of his body hasn't got better as thought. What if he told her to continue because he'd be better but he didn't realize how long the rehabilitation would be. What if he had cancer but they didn't know it wasn't fully taken away and needs chemo/radio. THERES SO MANY WHAT IFS. Yet some here jump to conclusions to put down another female working hard in the industry that didn't even intend to go in the first place. **** the forward ticket sales, vegas sells or gets comped on the day, if people don't understand that then what can I say.

Britney is very brave and caring cancelling to look after him. 

I appreciate the nice comments on here, there are a lot of nice reasonable fans and lets hope nothing this bad ever happens to close friends and family.
