It genuinely baffles me that she thinks she has to dance a whole night of pop choreographies to call something a show, it's like... weren't you gonna revolutionize pop culture? Why are you still playing by the boring rules You could do so much different stuff, spend your money differently and wow us properly. I mean, it's not normal some fans have to belittle other fans for having "unrealistic" expectations. Why is it a good thing to expect her to do the same show over and over again? Why should it be right to not be ambitious in our own imagination? Why is it so wrong of us to want to be wowed? She took my breath away countless times already, I know she can do it. And it's not a question of money, it's how you spend it. And I just don't like her spending it all on boring designs or a stage that actually is not that impressive even though it may be expensive I just want to see something I know another pop chick couldn't have come up with. That's why I keep an eye on her in the first place. So yeah, I'd say she's just not bold enough. She seems to have lost some of her edge. Like, seriously, imagine Katy or Ari performed this exact Vegas show. There's no doubt in my mind that more than half of the people in these threads being all "the show is so great your expectations ruined it" would do a complete 180 and would trash that show to the depths and beyond And it's kind of sad that Gaga doesn't realize that herself when she's designing these performances. Would she herself be wowed if she saw a show like that? I really don't think so. We might have had our differences in other threads but you've made some excellent points here, especially the bit in bold. I can understand your point of view much better and I happen to agree with you this time.

But it's very static. Katy's lion prop at the Superbowl was also operated manually but at least it kept on moving and kept looking impressive throughout the whole performance That is not the case with Gaga's robot. The entrance is spectacular and then it just looks silly. To me.

Superbowl is a different thing, you can't compare the 2 things, the Superbowl is a 10 minutes production and 1 short act and it's a bigger space with many more dancers, so you can bring whatever you want there... Enigma is in a small place with more strict regulators than a stadium, you can't do what you want, you also don't have a big amount of dancers to operate a giant thing, you work with what you have... if Gaga had the budget for a 2 hours Superbowl-like show for Enigma, maybe this robot was flashing lasers, but sh doesn't.. and honestly, she spent most of the budget on the amazing CGI.. let's forgive her about this robot.. So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy

It was moved by the dancers but at least they were hidden in the darkness and you didn't see them the robot seems taken from a school project... Gaga as an artist is in a whole new level after ASIB, Superbowl, etc But honestly, sometimes her shows don’t reflect how big she is... what I’m trying to say is that, even though she spends lots of money and some great ideas are put on the table, her stage layouts sometimes look kind of amateur... or not what you would expect from an artist of Lady Gaga’s size, even her Superbowl show, it had some great moments but it was not as spectacular as it could be. i agree with those who say that she needs a new more professional creative team, she’s creative on her own but we all want to see her at her full potencial on the stage Because her team members are her friends, not professional innovative artists, Thanks God, her manager is so good. Well, if she didn't have the budget to make it work, then she just shouldn't have bothered to make it tbh I'm also not comparing the Superbowl to an arena show, I'm just comparing two similar stage props. If the Vegas robot had just moved across the stage or Gaga descended from it and did the rest of the performances on the floor, it would already be 1000x better. I'm not making a statement about budget (as I've repeated throughout this thread), I'm more concerned with her ideas. To me it's just shocking she thought standing on a static robot for three minutes was a good performance. I don't see why that has to do with money, CGI or stage space. It just has to do with knowing what's a good performance and what's not.

Fanta 5,019
Okay y’all will eat me alive, but look at Beyoncé as an example. I think she is very boring and her music is meh, but she puts out the most incredible visuals and most exciting performances ever. They always look EXTREMELY polished and perfect and professional. Beyoncé is also known as cutthroat when it comes to business and it seemed like it was worth it. Gaga’s team is a more family like situation and it feels like no one wants to ‘hurt’ another person by bringing in new ideas or different (more professional) people. With Enigma the makeup and choreography was a mess. Enigma was a cute concept and I loved the video game/anime character but the overall putting together of it was a mess. Like many of you said, I think for Gaga to be 10 years into her career we should not expect anything less than perfect. I hate the fact that someone like Beyoncé who has a team that comes up with everything for her gets praised like a God but we have Gaga with all her creativity and ideas put out something that looks rushed. She CAN do better and it doesn’t make up an ungrateful fan to expect/demand that. Enigma ain’t cheap either.
MelbHawker 6,583
I think her team preach innovation and that whole notion of being a 'game changer' but don't execute such material/product.
keith ink 1,482
Why dont u all just apply for her vegas team and lets see if you can make a better show than enigma. I understand that you have all the freedom in this site to express your disappointment about the show but some of yalls views arent even fair. Like judgement is supposed to be unbiased, educated and completely thought of.

This is also a problem with her artistry that herself, her team and her fans are probably not aware of but still take pride in. Its basically what keeps her from being the greatest imo. Her performances originate from both commercial value /money and her desire to be worshipped / her narcissistic persona. I will just stop here. FfFfFfFF 55,685
What did TFM or BTWB have that makes them superior to a Enigma? If they are so much alike how come the latter is such a downgrade to the first ones? I think most of complainers are the ones that moved on from Gaga and no longer are the light in her and try to justify it so many ways. Their passion is gone, not Gaga's. Yes, being a fan doesnt mean constant blid blind to every project, but having that connection with you idol. Once the connection is gone, it's no surprise you are always unsatisfied. Beyoncé is the best performer imo, she might be repetitive or boring or whatever, but her stamina is INSANE, even after birthing a baby, some twins AND after almoat dying from that pregnancy. You will never hear Bey get out breath or at least it isn't really noticeable + her dancing is always energetic and sharp through her 2 hour shows. Her sets are also very clean and you only focus on Bey and her dancers, no sistracting props needed. Gaga in the other hand, is more creative and theatrical but gets tired very quickly and her dancing is really sloppy, but it's understandable since she's ill. Anyways, that's just my opinion.
