Trust me, with the new administration in the future, we will rejoin again. besides UNESCO is not that significant nor geopolitically prominent. The USA technically already a non member since 2011 when UNESCO give Palestine a membership. As result USA, as one of major country that funds the organization, does a major cut on the funding. This withdrawal just finalize it and in doing so, UNESCO will also one of their major funds source. Not only that, this move may also trigger more Western countries who also are major funds sources to UNESCO to follow USA steps, just like they did after Trump admin move USA embassy in Israel to Jerusalem from Tel Aviv.
