Also his jokes about death don't sound that different from the gays on twitter celebrating the death of a certain musician because they did something to a gay person so...

I found it funny. He’s allowed to comment on social trends. The whole point of comedy is to reference social events/reality and find humor in it.

I thought some of it was funny too.  People really need to settle off their high horse big cat train and shake it off like a calgon commerical every now and then.

There are actual issues in the real world. Lol

It's so funny to me when people choose to get mad and when they dont.

I did not think the mothers thing was funny.  I wouldve said I identify as a hotel room so come stay in me.

It's stupid comedy. Standup is designed to be offensive!  Its not for the sensitive.

It’s just comedy... people need to lighten up already.

Moreover, I find the fact that we are trying to tell comedians what they should and shouldn’t say to be frightening. If you don’t like what they have to say, simply don’t listen and don’t buy tickets to their shows. They’ll hear that a hell of a lot more than SJWs on Twitter having a hissy fit. Watch something like the Joan Rivers documentary “A Piece of Work”, and you’ll see that’s true.

And it is frightening because its censorship and 2 Live Crew back in the day FOUGHT for the freedom to say what the hell we want and we all use it.  Yes it was the law but everyone was being censored so to start that up again is honestly hypocritical and does a disservice to yourself!

He’s so unfunny :emma: Should have stayed away and lived on that networth. No one asked him to come back.

He's legally free to make whatever shitty jokes he wants and we're legally free to call him out for making shitty jokes. Criticizing someone isn't censorship, how are there people that STILL don't get this?

And yes, we want this hatefull bullsh*t to be marginalized because that's how progress works. Either queerphobia is gonna be marginalized or queer people are gonna be marginalized. They can't coexist.

Is it bad I kinda find some parts of this funny?

And tbh if I was there in person I would have found a lot more even funnier.

It's just humour. My closest circle of friends that I've had for ten years now since the beginning of high school used to tear each other a new one, day in day out.

So maybe that's why I see this as not a problem. Because my best friends are the greatest people ever who got me through the worst time of my life when I was kicked out for being gay.

But I bet you wouldn't think they were the type if you overheard a snippet of a homophobic joke they made in jest.

Just accept humour can be dark sometimes. Let's be real, when have you ever built a belief system around/intergrated a belief into your world-view from something a comedian said?

I never said criticism is censorship but what IS is when a large group of people condemn so hard that it becomes a thing.

If 80% of this forum knew the things I said in my real life because its FUNNY, I'd have no life here.  None. Zero. NONE!  I am the king of dry dark bad humor.

So I leave ALL of me in the real world.
