Most of the album had a different tone to it that wasn't as melancholic as Ultraviolence and Honeymoon sounded. It's easier to listen to over and over. The dark stuff never clicked with me, which is why I didn't dig Ultraviolence or Honeymoon (West Coast and Terrance Loves You are the exceptions). The clips have a lot of that vibe. I just hope she doesn't do any vocal collabs, the only one I enjoyed was Groupie Love.
