Katy Perry’s production team is amazing

It is undeniable that Lady Gaga is in every aspect a better artist than Katy Perry (no shade just tea) 

I have just been noticing recently what an amazing team Katy Perry has in her productions, especially her tours/live performances, i actually wouldn’t consider myself a person who likes Katy Perry music overall but I have seen some perfomances of her tours and they are total eye candy, and it actually gets you into the music even if you are not really into it and makes the show atractive for non-fans. 

and I can’t help it but find it ironic because I believe that Gaga has a much higher budget for her shows, but Katy’s team just seems to do a much better job, all the visuals are really appealing and make a lot of sense, and her shows are always a spectacle

Gaga shines on stage because of her talent and energy but do you think her production is the best among popstar shows?

now, for those who point out how good Enigma production is.... I lowkey agree, in some parts of the concert, but in almost half of the show it just looks like random lights and lasers in the stage, and that happens in every tour and concert where Gaga has performed so far

I know you're going to get dragged to hell and back for posting this, but I 100% agree. I went to the Witness The Tour, and while Katy isn't near Gaga AT ALL in term of vocals or stage presence, her production is flawless. I was in awe the whole time. Such a joyful time  
But again, it's not like Gaga's tours sucks or anything! It's just different!

And the best thing is that she remixes her songs, so they always sound fresh. Hot n Cold for example went from normal to jazz to upbeat & groovy  

While I think Gaga's shows are better I'm just tired of the same old arrangements. I'm like "Oh Poker Face  mamama.. Just Dance oh slay  30 seconds of Telephone again ". That's why I always prefer the new tracks / rarely performed songs more.

I know this is controversial but I think Beyoncé has the best production value when it comes to stages. They are super simple and minimal but her last 2 tours blew my mind cuz as simple as they were, the worked AMAZING, the stage looked huge and clean and you only focus on Bey and her dancers, no props needed.

Now, I agree that Katy's production value is underrated, she knows how to put on a show and she needs to be more respected as a performer. Also, I love how Katy re-arrenged her hits on Witness The Tour, something Gaga should do cuz I'm tired of ALWAYS hearing the same + she's always cutting the same songs and then throws them away.

Gaga's version of a remix is singing "yeah baby yeah baby" instead of "tonight yeah baby" in TEOG and erasing the French part in BR

I do think that it's important to say that (it seems like) Gaga has more artistic freedom and she's more engaged in all the visuals/stages/looks than Katy and she changes her mind constantly which rushes things and comes off as messy.

But I agree Katy has a better team and it shows, there's more consistency and cohesiveness in all she does.

I haven't attended a Katy Perry tour but have to admit that the videos I've seen did make the Witness tour look really good. 

I think the difference with Gaga and Katy is that Katy needs the fancier show because she doesn't have a strong enough voice. Whereas Gaga has an incredible voice where she doesn't need to rely on the aesthetics so much. I think that's why the JWT was more toned down compared to her previous shows, because her voice was the most important aspect of the show. 

But what you need to remember is Katy probably doesn't have as much input as Gaga does. So there are more professionals deciding the show for her. I can imagine Gaga being very much involved with every aspect of her show and telling the people working on it what she wants, so she relies less on professionals to decide for her which results in what some people call "messy", much like the Edge of Glory video for example.

Her main problem is that she hires her friends instead of professional artists. Not always, but mostly.

Her Enigma tour posters are such an amazing work thanks to Inez but I'm 100% sure that lg6 cover will be ugly mess made by this Eli guy which has 0 talent. You can hate me for that words but I just finished doing some research and there isn't any picture which I like. Of course Gaga summer insta photos are hot but nothing special. 

Back in the day she used to work with the biggest names like Steven Klein, Francis Lawrence or David La Chapelle for her videos and photoshoots. Her shows was perfect (MBT BTWB) her performances was on the top...

That's why her shows are kinda low quality. I like Enigma but I don't LOVE it. She just need to work with great artists again

EDIT: I WILL NEVER STOP supporting this bitch anyway. She can do a show with a playback britney spears tribute and I will still pay all my $ <\3
