Enigma Is Fantastic

I know there has been a million threads made about this already, but I feel the need to say something because I am still seeing so much negativity on this site and especially Twitter.

Gaga came for blood with this show and she delivered. The setlist is amazing, the stage, outifts, wigs, props, choreo, vocals, everything is on point. Of course, there could be a few minor changes to it to make it better, but that comes with every show.

I saw so many people trash talking her and saying things like "she should fire Natali", "I hate her for not doing a new song".

For those complaining that she didn't release new music: Gaga never promised anything

For those complaining about wigs/makeup/outfits: Gaga regularly switches up her looks for her shows, so I wouldn't be surprised if later we see new outfits

For those complaining about the setlist: This is a Vegas residency. I don't know why some of you expected to hear Gypsy, HML, etc. Mostly GP goes to Vegas shows, and they wouldn't know the words. She mostly played her hits for a reason. Plus, we DID get many more fan favorites in this show than in most. We got Government Hooker, Scheisse, BDR, The Fame, DITD, and Aura. MORE than I could've even asked for.

Gaga gave us so much in this show. More choreo than we've had since ArtRave, a f**king ROBOT, amazing visuals she worked so hard on, and a CONCEPTUAL, THEATRICAL show! Enigma is the perfect blend of BTWB's theatrics, ArtRave's tech, and JWT's visuals.

I'm just so tired of everyone not being content with Gaga no matter what she does. She tries her best, and in my opinion, she slayed this. Of course, just like everyone else, I do have a few things I would change (that purple outfit). But I am most certainly NOT going to go and treat Gaga like a pile of scheisse because of ONE outfit that wasn't my cup of tea. If you have something you'd like to change about the show and want to tell the internet, be kind about it. Constructive criticism is key. If you're gonna be rude to Gaga then just don't say anything thank u.

I am very excited to see how the show evolves in the future and if the story line will adapt at all over the years. I am so proud of our queen and how far she has come. Gaga, if you still come on this site (I wouldn't be surprised if you don't), I want you to know not to listen to these "fans". You did great last night and you tore my wig off.

Unfortunately, some fans are unable to accept that CrazyGaga has returned. For me, Enigma felt like the Gaga I fell love with. I became a fan during the ARTPOP era, and honestly speaking I was dying to see her again Crazy, Unapologetic and Fresh. 

Well done, Gaga! You always give electric shocks to people and people can't handle that!

Some fans on GagaDaily: I don't know, it was a little disappointing, I liked a lot of it but I didn't love the story and some of the outfits were messy, still love her though!

All I’m going to say is it felt like a show from 2011. Nothing bad about that visually, in fact, that was her visual/performing peak in my opinion. But she can do so much better than singing a setlist that’s primarily old stuff. Her aura was retro and vintage, but the setlist just felt outdated and old. Hopefully she’ll add new music to it.

I've seen some pretty harsh things towards this show though. I mean, while there was stuff I didn't like, I did love the majority of the show, but there are people who were like "This show brought nothing new and innovative", "This show is just for the money", "They put no effort into the set and outfits", etc.

It really is.

When I enjoy something I usually don't care what others think, but so many people hating on Enigma actually saddens me a bit. Like, everyone was whining about her being boring, everyone was tired of her stripped back performances, everyone wanted her to be weird again. Well, there you have it. She is having a show that portrays a video game stimulation and she is playing an anime character. Hello? Could it get weirder than that? She finally delivered something that looks like they had a **** ton of brainstorming and different ideas. She is stomping on that stage in a massive robot ffs  Her energy also is much wilder on this show than previously. 

I mean, the show does have its flaws. Maybe we should've seen more of the anime girl on the screen, she was indeed kinda thrown there without elaborating much, a few dance moves are cringe and there is a messy outfit or two, but who cares? Are we going to nitpick that much on her now just for the sake of being "opinionated!!1!!!1"? Please....

Somehow, she will never please everyone. I swear, some of you deserve her to go full country Joanne for the rest of her career and not even blink

  From the videos and pics I have seen, Enigma is fantastic.  I'll bet the majority of those who saw the show live in the audience loved it.

Couldn’t agree more. Also, don’t worry about Gaga seeing what people are saying online: the standing ovation she got last night from people who actually saw the show spoke volumes.
