asana15 16,648 Posted December 29, 2018 Share Posted December 29, 2018 Excellent review from Variety Lady Gaga Kicks Off a Very Good Romance With Vegas “Lady Gaga Enigma” is a generous show, by Vegas pop standards, not just by exceeding the standard get-‘em-out-onto-the-slot-machines set length, but because Gaga also happens to do almost two hours more of actual singing than some of her counterparts on the Strip.... Watching Gaga do what she does best — even better than act, still — is all the story or connecting thread a show needs. She is the Streisand of today, given her series of top-selling albums and blossoming film career. Gaga also, clearly, sees a Vegas residency as a way to effectively contribute to that legacy. She routinely shouted about being in Vegas, relishing the chance to follow some of the greatest superstars to play the city... ...In Las Vegas, and everywhere, Lady Gaga owns her future. But if a critic is reaffirming your opinion, why not use it as an opportunity to be rude to other members of this forum?
