It was fun, but didn’t feel like a Black Mirror episode. Idk why.

Think again, honey. Read between his lines.  :triggered:

"No matter how many choices I give them, I still decide the ending"

Spoiler

He's in control but we (the audience/PACS) programmed him to go insane.

THAT NETFLIX ENDING WAS THE BEST THING EVER! :huntyga:

It's a beautiful episode. Sometimes we blame ourselves for things we have no control over and we overanalyse things. The fact he couldn't find his bunny made him hate his father but somehow he still saved his life. Excellent as always BM.

This is so cool. But when does the real black mirror come out? Or are they all interactive.

The episode featuring miley will be interesting :ohwell:

This is just a standalone film that's part of the series.

No official announcements for Season 5 has been made except that we know for sure it's been renewed.

I guess Bandersnatch is just to hold us over till the next season.

oh, i took it as

Spoiler

we were being put in the same situation, if we chose something other than what we were meant to it just kept going in circles, so the ending we didn't really have that much choice in anyway :selena:

It's actually a reflection (as usual with Black Mirror episodes) on what's actually happening in our reality. If someone is controlling us up there somewhere, and we make these choices in our world.... did we really make our own choice or is someone controlling us to make these choices to become what we're programmed to be.

ugh, the creators minds :wtfga:

I don't usually like Black Mirror but I decided to give it a try since it's an interactive movie (also all the people thinking it's an innovative concept :toofunny:).

Spoiler

I like the concept, it's taking the idea of interactive movies to another level. However the execution of the concept is weird. Why does Stefan make the wrong choices when you don't control him ? Or maybe it's the point, you can't give him the choice if you want him to "succeed", so you, the player, don't have any more free will than the character does.

I like that Black Mirror acknowledged their meh scenario in that scene with the therapist too :ladyhaha:

I did not know it was interactive so I was watching it while eating and was kinda annoyed I had to chose for him. :messga: After I finished eating it was cool. I got tired of it by the end though because I kept choosing the wrong things. :smh: I felt bad for him. Black Mirror always puts me out of my comfort zone and that’s why I love it so much.

Here's the explanation. This is the "black mirror" aspect of the story.

Yes, I think it was obvious and it's like this for a lot of interactive stories or games anyway, there's a "good" end and you keep on playing and rewinding until you get it (although there's no "good" end here, maybe the one with the mom is the right one because it doesn't offer you the choice of rewinding but that's it).
