OrlandoGay92 85 Posted December 29, 2018 Share Posted December 29, 2018 To those of us who enjoyed this MASTERPIECE, ignore the haters. Do NOT let them rain on your parade!! Is it a perfect show? Well that is hard to say. Tonight was opening night and I watched a LQ live stream so I frankly cannot give an adequate opinion. I have no idea how people are commenting on costumes, make-up, etc etc but they must have seen better video than I did because I couldn't make it out at all. The set list is a dream come true. Yes it did feel a bit random at times, but I'm sure overtime it will start to make sense. I do wish Marry the Night had made an appearance, otherwise I have no qualms about the song selection. The great thing about any type of live performance is that is grows over time. Of course the first night is going to appear "off", its the first time they are bringing everything together. If you read remarks from any opening night of any show, Vegas or not, you'll find this to be true. Live shows are organic living creatures and what we saw tonight likely will not be the same ENIGMA we see a year from now. They will decipher what works, what doesn't, and what needs just a little TLC. I do hope she is able to extend the show for an additional year, the possibilities are endless in a permanent venue and I think it suites her well. I think this is a fantastic way to celebrate the legacy she has made for herself over the last ten years. ENIGMA won't appeal to all fans, just like her previous endeavors didn't, and that's okay. Not everyone is going to love everything she does. But, to me, ENIGMA is everything I could have wanted and more. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

I think I like almost everything about the show, but when did she become the losing queen during a "drag on a dime" challenge, holy lordt. I know that the only reason that I feel underwhelmed right now is because I hyped it up too much in my mind and made it completely unrealistic given the venue etc. The streams were **** so anything is going to look bad in it, but I really do think that having NO new songs at all just kind of dates the whole thing altogether. Basically I played myself lmao maybe I have to take a break from Gaga completely to get to the point that I miss it and anything Gaga is good. I don't get why she didn't take that opportunity tonight? I wasn't expecting anything new, but once she was going in this simulation into her future present and past, I was assuming we'd hear something new.. but who knows.. Apart from that, I think it'll be changed around and make more sense to us eventually. I feel that the dialogue each night is going to be different (so Gaga can show her acting chops), so we may understand more about the show.
