27monster27 13,786
Note: I not saying the TEOG under performed because it obviously didn't. I was just thinking about this recently because looking at other popular songs of the time, "We Found Love", "The One That Got Away", etc. I feel like The Edge of Glory would have fit in nicely. FATCAT 60,355
I mean it was a Summer/Fall Hit, any later and it'd have gotten the boot. Marry The Night, one of my favorite songs, was short-cut because of the Christmas season, so imo it would have been less successful if they waited more than 2 months. Bradley 59,327
Scheiße deserved to be performed at the 2012 Grammys and serviced as the sixth single.
Monster7 5,697
Honestly she should have released it as the lead in early 2011, followed a month after by BTW (single) and the album another month after that

I could see TEOG as a second single though. See The Best In Everyone

zerojk 4,987
TEOG is one of the highest quality Gaga songs, it deserved better if it would have been released instead of Judas, BTW era would have been so much diferent
VOLANTIS 16,423
It was honestly the perfect second single we deserved. Kind of like the sultry calm after the beautiful storm Born This Way (single) was.
