“Kenneth Petty, rolled up on Lamont Robinson one early morning in April 2002 and opened fire on him on a street corner in Queens, NY.

We're told Petty drove to the crime scene with a group of cohorts, hopped out of the car, walked across the street where Robinson was hanging out, pulled out a gun ... and shot him in the stomach 3 times. Our sources say he then fled in the vehicle with the group.

They suspected it to be a targeted hit over a gang beef. One investigator who was on the OG case told us he could only recall the shooting was over some "bulls***."

Kenneth was initially charged with 2nd-degree murder, but pled guilty to a lesser charge of 1st-degree manslaughter. He served 7 years in prison, and got released in 2013.

Nicki isn't fazed by Kenneth's checkered past ... as we're told, she and Kenneth have already discussed having babies and getting hitched.

It makes me sick to know that children are exposed to someone like Nicki, she is the exact opposite of what a role model should be, there are things you just dont do, and she has done them all, having a relationship with a murderer and pretending its ok is just the tip of the iceberg.

Nicki mentioned several times it was never her intention to be a role model, nor is she making music for kids... I don't know why people think it's ok to put it on an artist to be a role model, and demand they make changes to THEIR personal life, when they should be asking the parents questions... Actually I do know why - because it's easy...

Men are naturally more dominating, aggressive, and logical thinking because we have balls.

No one “has the intention” to be a role model. You just are one. When you are such a famous person, exposed to everyone on this planet, you are a role model for your fans, whether you like it or not. Being a role model is not something u have to choose like “hey I am a role model!”, no, you become one as the consecuence of being famous, because your fans and followers are going to follow your steps.

could mean anything

Whenever a celebrity declares “they shouldn’t be a role model” they are admitting they don’t deserve to be a role model.

Just out of curiousity, if someone killed him (let’s say, a revenge attack from one of the family members of the man he killed) I wonder what punishment they would get?

7 years in jail maybe???

Pathetic. :fthis:

When dis she say that she doesn't want to be a rolemodel? I always have heard her preach that girls should stay in school en not depend on a man etc...

If she doesn't want to be a rolemodel at least she could show Some responsability and think twice before she is posting gang signs on her insta

She is famous and people and her fans look up to what she does so she knows that and she is abusing that power by for exemple attacking a E host because he told the truth and tagged his name so her crazy mindless fans can attack him and she also dismissed the rape victim of her man who doesn't have the same platform to defend herself :bye:

That comes with fame by default, its common sense, dont know why we need to explain it

Someone ventures out to make popular art and suddenly they have to walk on egg shells because parents can't be bothered to monitor their own kids? Nope, that's stupid - unless they actually signed a contract that demands they behave a certain way... If those clause aren't enforced properly, that's a different argument...

Because it makes no sense if you actually think about it - again, you're picking on a celebrity because it's easier than demanding and making sure parents do an adequate job - too bad celebs can do with their own lives whatever they please so long as they're not breaking any laws... Just because someone is famous or has people following them doesn't mean they owe it to the public to behave in a way you or anyone deems appropriate, and it's not the artist's fault either if people can't separate them from their work...

I don't remember what interview that was, but it was pretty obvious when the guy asked her about her having younger fans she got uncomfortable and said flat out she doesn't create work for kids... And no, that's the point - she doesn't have to do any of that... Like, if you make the argument that an artist has to behave a certain way on the off chance they have younger followers, where do you draw the line? What about their work - do they need to censor their work even if younger demographic is not the demographic they're making it for? Cuz people make that argument and yeah it's dumb too...

Or they just don't want to be one cuz it's a headache? Idk why you think being a role model is such a feat - I wouldn't want to be one - it sounds extremely unpleasant... Fortunately I don't have to think about that ever...

Well depends on the celebrity, doesn’t it?

Some see being a role model as an honour. Others see it as a nuisance.

But whether they like it or not, all celebrities are role models. Don’t try to hide it. It comes with the job description. You live by the fame you die by the fame.

Im not saying she needs not censor her art. Its not about her art Its about her personal life and the message thats she transfer the millions of her followers

And if she doesn't want people talking or critizing her personal life she shouldn't share it with everybody

She clearly knows her man in controversial but doesn't care and is ruining that poor girl that he raped life

And its not about a younger audience she isn't a good rolemodel for any audience

And just because she is a doesn't want to be a rolemodel does that mean we are not allowed to criticize her? Last time I checked we ar still not living in the land of Kim-Yung-Minaj
