It's actually doing pretty decent... It almost at 50 millions on Spotify and might rise aswell in the next weeks/months after the christmas fest.

I really preciate the song. It's an amazing song, never thought I would see someone release a song that is a mix between disco and country.

But it is more old school, when songs didn't have tons of hooks like they have to nowadays to be successful (of course there are exceptions, like Shallow, but Shallow has a movie behind it).

bloody g

It's good but not great, it's sticky but not catchy, it's remarkable but not memorable, it's just eh.

It seems to be doing decent everywhere but the US. And for the most part its well received, its a good song. Its just doesn't follow the same algorithmic patterns that everything else on US radio does at this moment in time and it also doesn't have a "climax" so to speak, it kind of chugs along the same tone till it finishes which I think makes some people find it a little forgettable. I personally quite like it a lot and I think had it been pushed harder it could've done better here. BUT I think Miley Cyrus is a polarizing character especially after her little black twitter condemnation last era, shes kind of got a lot to overcome in order to smash here again imo. Which imo is not entirely deserved but whatever.
