Like she wouldn't know that the paps are going to take a bunch of pics of her lighting up a pipe in the car. D) It's not Gaga's job to worry about being a role model. She's never once claimed to be any kind of paragon of virtue. If she worried about everything her fans might take negative from her she would be paralyzed from doing anything. Voice of reason. Regardless of your stance on her pot usage, getting worked up over it means you're participating in the fervor she's drumming up. I think it's F-n great and seriously ballsy. Illuminati Freak 2,432 Posted August 23, 2012 Share Posted August 23, 2012 Anyone that sits here and preaches about what weed does to your brain, side effects and rambles on about it being illegal and pushing their moral values down people's throats can't say **** and should keep one's mouth shut if they smoke cigarettes or drink alcohol on a regular basis which I'm sure some of you do "DO". If not great move on, weed is not for everyone. I'm an adult I choose to smoke weed when and where I want to. My friends do it, I have Family members who have been doing it for 30 years and they are not suffering from psychosis, haven't killed anyone or been in jail or a mental institution for that matter. They all have amazing jobs, own their homes and have raised children. And they happen to be regular weed smokers so give me a break with this other nonsense. Yes weed can affect some people differently and these side effects are no different to the long list of ones you may find that comes with a prescription bottle from your doctor or in a commercial advertising some pharmaceutical d--g. Her attitude is so ballsy!! Going from one of the most serious album eras to the most "responsibilty lacking" eras ever is gonna go down so bad with the press. For those of you that have compared same s-x marriage, please know that's a completely invalid argument. Comparing basic civil rights while citing the words our country was founded on is completely different than legalizing a plant that alters your consciousness. For those of you comparing s-x and masturbation, you make even less sense. Marijuana use, although illegal is pretty mainstream in the US too. So many celebrities openly admit to doing it and I assume from what I have read on forums from peeps in the US, it's not that hard to get hold of. Other places, for whatever reason, it's considered more deviant and you need to associate with some pretty dodgy people to get weed. I used to smoke pot in high school up until I was about 21, when I stopped hanging around with people who could easily get it. But I know from experience where I live that the people who will supply it, are people you really wouldn't want to be around for too long. As a teenager buying pot was pretty scary, and my teenage self and my friends got into some situations which could have quite easily taken a disastrous turn but thankfully didn't. I think now that if I had kids I would be more worried about the process of them GETTING the marijuana, rather than smoking it. I know that smoking it wouldn't ruin their lives and there are far worse 'd--gs' out there. That is where I think the glamourisation of marijuana use can be harmful to young people- not in the smoking of the d--g itself. But I realise that in the US and other places (where the majority of these messages come from), that marijuana is easier to get hold of. Still doesn't mean that I want to listen to songs about marijuana. I feel as though I got that out of my system listening to "Moist Vagina" by Nirvana 10 years ago. You experienced it when you were younger. I´m just wondering how does it feel like. Did it make you feel more concentraded in studies? Did your body or brain feel more excited, more energetic like your hiden thoughts come all of a sudden, and you feel more inteligent, smart? Did you feel less "sleepy", less brain tired or body tired? I really am curious. Not that I want to try, but its because no one talks about how you feel when you do it. People just say "high". But for those who have never been high with weed, it can mean lots of things. And "high" in alchool is different from high in cigarettes, I suppose. So, how is being high with weed?
