another glorious addition to her videography

damn, Cardi just can't stop winning :firega:

and to think that she's a Gaga fan as well :nick: actually I kinda see some major Gaga-esque influence in this video.

omg...the fashion in the MV is INCREDIBLE. Literally the best fashion I've seen in an MV in ages

The mv itself is just ok in my opinion but the outfits are simply amazing and some shots look like high editorial photoshoots.

It may have visuals and all but I'm disappointed that she feels the need to be this explicit. It would have been just about fine if she hadn't felt the need to show those women with almost completely exposed nipples. It's this kind of sexualisation that really drives me crazy because women do this saying that they're being strong and independent and even that they're just doing what men are doing. But men are not exposing themselves. You don't see (straight) men borderline showing their penis or ass in music videos. Yes, they might be topless but their chests aren't viewed in the same way women's are so it's not the same. If you're truly a strong, independent women, you don't need to use your body to get views, likes and sales. Yes, some men sexualise themselves but most of them don't have to. Women go wild at the mere sight of them if they're good-looking enough. 1D wore casual clothes all the time yet their female fans would scream as if they were naked. But even if they're not good-looking, their talent (or if they don't have that, the talent that they've fooled people into thinking they have) will be enough to carry their career. I think it's sad that women who have looks and talent today still feel the need to put all the goods on display and ensure they're on a very different playing field to men. And if you really want to sexualise, just do it yourself, not others.

Plus, when it comes to making yourself look visually pleasing, you'd be surprised at the amount of men who think it's sexier when a woman leaves something to the imagination. I think that was partly the reason why I was ok with Iggy's Kream video to an extent - she was surprisingly well-covered and even when she showed a bit more ass, she wasn't showing any more than you'd see at an average beach. It's refusing to let it all hang out that is so enticing. And most men will take a pretty face over a perfect body any day.
