I think LG6 will be released soon

Many here believe that Gaga won’t release anything from LG6 until fall or summer of 2019 because it will interrupt ASIB promo or because is Christmas season. But you all seem to forget that she has been teasing LG6 since over a year ago. She basically started working on LG6 as soon as she finished ASIB. If you think about it she has been working on LG6 for probably more time than she worked on Joanne. And many producers have confirmed that they have COMPLETED songs with her. Furthermore she keeps saying that LG6 will be a surprise. Meaning it’s sound and or its release will be a surprise.  Finally I don’t believe that her releasing a new song or album will take away from ASIB. ASIB already got its acclaim.  If anything this new fame and popularity could help LG6. She could easily have two successful eras at once. So I believe that she will release at least the lead single at Enigma’s debut or from now until February.

I was 100% on the train of things get released this year, you can find me posting about it constantly in older posts. But now, with ASIB breaking out, the awards season coming up and the first half of the tour nearly sold out - I just don't think there's a good reason to release new music right now. It seems to make more sense to wait until mid-next year when she's not still killing it to start putting out new hits. I see what you mean that ASIB has landed and such, but I do think new music is a bit distracting when she has a serious Oscars push for a few months. That said, singing a new song at the Grammys would make senes, but she like NEVER does this anymore (esp when it makes sense), so... lol.

Also, I really want them to try to push ARUTW or INLA as singles, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I agree that people are extra with their excuses. Everyone pretending like ASIB and LG6 will clash and cause her to flop is...  Let’s not forgot CTC got critical acclaim, won her a Grammy and a #1 album all while she was promoting ARTPOP. She can handle two promo cycles.

Look at what Arianna is doing. She has two successful eras happening at once. Gaga can release ballad like songs from ASIB and more upbeat ones from LG6. And like I said, ASIB’s success could give more attention to LG6. At the very least the lead single.

But she's also doing Enigma, I just feel like it's a lot and there's no real reason to do it now. Of course, she could, I just don't think it's the best choice. I agree whether she releases in a week or 6 months that ASIB will help LG6, so that's in the bag.

Personally, I don't think LG6 is coming out until the Spring or Summer of 2019, however, I would not complain if something came sooner. Literally why would you complain about getting new music As for the claims from members saying that doing electronic music or going back to a more "shocking" persona would risk her chances of winning an award, that's complete BS. Let's not forget that Cher attended the Oscars wearing this:

And then won her award in 1988 wearing this:

And that's with the release of new pop music shortly before.

Anything can happen. There are no written rules for how you win an award

Don't compare the ARTPOP era with the ASIB one  ARTPOP was already promoted and dead when C2C was released, the only thing that was still going was the tour (which was coming to an end).

ASIB is still #1 in multiple countries. She isn't promoting it, because she doesn't have to.

The difference is that radio is actually making her happen

Because Gaga hasn't release commercial or interesting music for the radio in AGES. Her last radio hit was Applause. And as much as I love Ari it's clear her team uses a lot of payola.... Radio literally plays TYN like 3 times an hour

For those fearing the Gaga persona will hurt her chance to win Oscar, well I guess it's already lost in advance as Enigma is starting in 1 week and that's what people will talk about in the next few weeks / months  

Seriously I don't see how Gaga focusing on her music career too could hurt her chance to win awards. The movie and the music from it has already been released. And that what committees will judge.I don't see how new music could make people change their mind on what they have seen / heard on ASIB.

I bet it was originally going to be a 2018 release or early 2019 but ASIB smashed beyond anyones expectations so I imagine it's been pushed back and she'll ride the tail end for LG6.
