I defended "" But since you brought it up, I personally do think that if you're not a good role model, you have no business raising a child. Not being a nice person doesn't disqualify one from being a good role model, but it sure doesn't inspire confidence. But I sure as sh*t wouldn't go so far as to say unkind people don't deserve to have children. After all, while I may think that being a drug addict is a trait of a bad role model, another person might consider homosexuality as being a trait of being a bad role model. Despite what my personal opinion on him and the future of his child may be, I still respect his right to have a child. Even if he turns out to be a bad role model and ends up damaging the child psychologically.
