.... like the golden globes has zero impact on Grammys. ......

Honestly, I don't really care that much cause Shallow got what it deserved. What pisses me off is Rami Malek winning Best Actor and BR winning Best Film when it's obviously pure nostalgia most of the elderly ass committee was feeling.

PLEASE.

I felt bad for Bradley, not Gaga. I mean Gaga was nominated for 2 and she won 1. It's enough but the fact that Bradley lost to a pedophile director speaks volume about how the Golden Globes has fall down and became the worst movie-award show ever.

No, Screen Actos Guild. Actors voting actors, it’s important cause results may be the winner for the Oscar.

Only actors can vote at the actors cats at the Oscars, after a GG win and a SAG win = congrats

That's what I thought too but I was wrong. All members can vote in all categories at the Oscars. Only nominations for each branches.

I'm actually pretty hopeful for the Grammy's. Shallow is the song of the awards season, and I think she's winning in the General Field this year.

that's exactly what I'm thinking. but that's why I'm afraid, cuz if it loses, I'll have a meltdown bigger than I'm having now...

Y'all, I still can't believe BR won Best Drama Film, literally what the ****? I'm gonna take it to the Golden Globes thread cause this is off topic but seriously? This stinks.

Glen wont win the Oscar, Olivia Colman will. Mark my words. Shallow will make Gaga an Oscar winner, so we should not be worried. :vegas:

Still not over the weakest film nominated getting the big award a film whose director wasn’t mentioned nor nominated during the award season. This is wrong in many levels.

another shot before we kiss the other side

Am I the only one who's really not that mad overall? I mean we got what we needed aka Shallow to win the Globe for Best Original Song. The really tragic situation was if this was snubbed because It's literally Gaga's biggest chance for an Oscar this year and if she lost then she would have had almost 0 chances for that Oscar but now she's pretty much the favorite BY FAR. I think with this win we kinda increased our chances for some Grammys too

There can be 5 nominations, but you only need one of them to win, and that was best original song. I'd like to thank miss Shallow :diane:

Billboard:

WORST MOMENT: A Movie Is Snubbed

Nice as it was to see Lady Gaga and Mark Ronson take the podium to accept best original song for the future karaoke standard "Shallow," we had hoped to see a lot more of Gaga and co-star Bradley Cooper on the evening. But despite the combined five nominations between them, Gaga's "Shallow" win was the lone triumph for A Star Is Born on the evening. Let's hope the Oscars make up for the disappointment in February.

If I recall correctly, the GRAMMY voting deadline is in a day or two. I dont know why some of you are worried considering (1) Shallow won and (2) most votes would have already been cast and sent by now.
