Gypsy Life 118,907
First ASIB Japan estimates Weekend Forecast (12/22-23) 01 (---) ¥500,000,000 ($4.5 million), 0, ¥595,000,000 ($5.4 million), Ralph Breaks the Internet (Disney) NEW 02 (01) ¥447,000,000 ($4.0 million), -45%, ¥1,825,000,000 ($16.3 million), Dragon Ball Super: Broly (Toei) WK2 03 (02) ¥379,000,000 ($3.4 million), -12%, ¥6,200,000,000 ($54.9 million), Bohemian Rhapsody (Fox) WK7 04 (---) ¥375,000,000 ($3.4 million), 0, ¥375,000,000 ($3.4 million), Kamen Rider Heisei Generations FOREVER (Toei) NEW 05 (03) ¥233,000,000 ($2.1 million), -30%, ¥5,075,000,000 ($45.2 million), Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (Warner Bros.) WK506 (---) ¥225,000,000 ($2.0 million), 0, ¥285,000,000 ($2.6 million), A Star is Born (Warner Bros.) NEW 600k on Friday. 2M Saturday + Sunday. Commentary: A Star is Born may miss the Top 5, or fifth place is as high as it's going to debut. But don't be alarmed. While its Friday results and Saturday pre-sales don't suggest a breakout, a debut around the forecast this time of year would still likely result in a ¥2 billion+ ($20 million) total. Is it possible that Bohemian Rhapsody stunted its potential? Maybe, but wouldn't have predicted much higher regardless
Arturo 40,746
We just need Japan to help the push to $400m. That's basically all I wanted for Japan.

Andrea B 16,460
I just finished watching The Wife and I'm still in shock I don't want to watch that movie ever again, it was too painful. I still don't fully get why Joan never left her st*pid untalented husband. Gaga has a strong competitor, Glenn Close is an amazing actress. The last scene of The Wife kinda reminded me of A Star is Born, Gaga and Gleen looked directly into the camera their performances are very Oscar-worthy, I honestly don't know who's going to win if they both get nominated. Andrea B 16,460
if Yalitzia Aparicio wins the Oscar, I'll be so disappointed. Gaga and Glenn deserve that award, in my opinion

Gaga and Glenn deserve that award, in my opinion I will be disappointed if she gets nominated (and she may not, she missed on some precursors and couldn't win some of those critics awards despite the film and the director sweeping), Marina de Tavira impressed me more in that film. I think the other one that could win is Olivia Colman, haven't watched The Favourite yet though she trully impresses in the clips!

I haven't watched The Favorite either, It'll premiere next month in my country but I've heard great things about it

Arturo 40,746
I’d take Yalitza, a talented indigenous woman, over that SIX TIME LOSER Glenn Close.
