Until about a year ago, the only way to watch Drag Race in NZ was to illegally download it or stream it, I don't even think the episodes were available on NZ iTunes until the last year so I feel your pain sis! I think this is the first time in All Stars where someone has played the game and eliminated the main competition; the fact that pretty much everyone else in the history of the show has eliminated one of the bottom queens fairly made this even more shocking. I know that some of the queens have kept friends, and some choices have been questionable, but in those instances the eliminated queen wasn't a front-runner for the crown. On the one hand I love it because we have a situation where someone is ruthlessly playing the game and it makes for great drama, on the other hand it's a real shame that yet another queen who legitimately deserves the win now won't get it. I love Trixie, she is a worthy All Star to me, but Shangela slayed that season. Would have loved if they'd waited a couple of years after AS2 for the next one because a season with Shangela, Trixie, Dela, Kennedy, Bebe, Manila, Trinity, Valentina, Naomi and Monique would have been amazing. I love Monet but I wish she would have sat this one out and come back next time, and Latrice has not been good at all - which is really sad because I love her. Hopefully AS5 is: Shea, Peppermint, Eureka, Miz Cracker, Mayhem Miller, Ongina, Darienne Lake, Kim Chi, Asia O Hara and Laganja, that would be a pretty strong cast. I love Latrice to death but she hasn't been delivering All-Star performances. Trinity is mega fierce competition but she still struggles from time to time with certain acting challenges. I won't be mad if she wins tho. What I REALLY want now is for Monique to just fxcking SNAP and turn it up a notch and just slay everyone else because when she performs she really PERFORMS (most of the time). And I hope Shea is smart about whether she wants to go on the next All Stars season. She had 4 challenge wins on a regular season; lord knows what she can pull off on all stars. But she'll have a target on her back, that much is for sure. I wouldn't want what happened to Manila repeat itself with Shea.
