We can't let them get away especially with the influence they have in the Middle East. Just like the embargo on exports to Canada I highly doubt this will affect the US too much if at all. Saudi Arabia is challenging one of the most powerful countries economically so they're hurting themselves more than anything. As someone from the Middle East, I'm disappointed that SA has so much influence here. Cutting ties with Saudi Arabia is for the better. I'm not sure what consequences this might entail but I think it's worth not supporting an unreliable and authoritarian government and maybe it might ease their influence on surrounding states. The fear in the west is if Iran can snuff them out. The Saidi's add a counter balance to the Irian radical Is Islamic influence in the region. There is this quasi-Cold War going on with Iran and Saudi Arabia. Please don't say things like that. The word 'terrorist' shouldn't be thrown around like that while generalizing an entire population and labeling them as such.
